Some facts about me

-For those of you passing through. My name is Lesslie. I am a SAHM to two very cute Boys.

-Their Names are Lincoln and Cole. Cole is my big almost 3 year old - He will be Three in September. Lincoln is my Little one, who will be 17 Months, This saturday, during the Blognerd Celebration!

-I've been Married for 3 1/2 years to the love of my life. even though he is a major pain in my butt sometimes but he is a great dad and a wonderful husband.

-I feel like my husband and I aren't done having children. but, since we argue ALL the time about The SUV debate, and getting a bigger vehicle to accommodate our WHOLE family. I think we're going to be done. I was going to have a yard sale this weekend and I was going to put a lot of my baby stuff out. and I just can't do it. Who knows. maybe one of these days he'll snap out of this, I'm too worried about gas mileage to car if we ever reproduce together again. HELLO!. I want to try for my daughter here!

- I'm currently going to School for Medical Transcription, It's been okay so far. It's been hard to try to sit down and do more than a few pages a day as my kids are IMPOSSIBLE at the moment. Thank god I have until next year.

- I love Stupid shows like 10 things I hate about you and Secret life of the american teenager. I have no idea why I am so attracted to these teenage sob shows. but I am.

- I am also a huge fan of One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural and a few others.

- I love Tori Spelling. Don't ask me why, some people think it's ridiculous but I love her!. I love her show and I read her book sTori Telling. I've always been a fan back in the day with 90210 and Saved by the bell (she played Violet). I watch her show Every Tuesday. She's Pretty real which is awesome to me and underneath it all even though she is Aaron Spellings daughter, she's still a mom and a great one at that!

- I love to read. I love vampire novels. like The Sookie Stackhouse Series. I love The Vampire Saga by Stephenie Meyer as well. I love the books, Twilight has become too much of a commodity lately because of the movie and it bugs me.

- I am apparently a huge fan of picking apart shows like Trublood, Twilight and Harry Potter. I think if they are going to adapt them into films. they should at least keep some heart of the books. but that's just me. I haven't seen Harry 6 and obviously New Moon is not out yet, but Trueblood is TERRIBLE. I can't even talk about it without feeling disappointed.

- I love to scrapbook. I unfortunately don't have enough time to do it. I always collect and gather things and they sit neatly away and collect dust :(

- My Favorite Recipe. I change it up a bit. I add Celery, And Peppered bacon from Walmart, I also do a half part Half and Half (or heavy whipping cream if you don't care about calories) and half part Light sour Cream. and I use a dash more hot sauce, since I'm the only one who eats it in this house. and I just cube the potatoes and let the soup simmer for awhile awhile, maybe an hour? I make it often since it's something that my kids don't like so I don't have to hear "MOMMY, BITE. BITE, MOMMY!".

-Oh, I also live in alaska. No it is not the Arctic. Yes, we get sunlight half of the year and then mostly darkness the other half. Yes, it's cold......etc etc etc.

Sorry I haven't been updating. I wish I Could.

We've been terribly busy. Michael leaves in a month for school, so we've been spending every waking moment of his vacation with him. he has 8 days off. I know I know. I can find time to update in 8 days right? well. Sorrry again. LOL.

I was accepted into the Career Step Program Partnered with Military One Source DoD Funding for Military Spouses so I could get my Certificate in Medical Transcription. Mostly Everyone who really knows me knows I would eventually like to get into the health care career field later on after my babies are Not babies anymore and I won't have a nest of chicklets to fully take care of. I've always wanted to be an RN but right now between bills, a House payment, two car payments and Small Children I just can't. The awesome thing about Medical Transcription is:

- The course is set at your own pace. You do have one year to complete the course but you can finish and graduate earlier.
- I can do it right from my computer even after I get a Job = No Daycare.
- I will always have employment because the Medical Jobs are in such high demand, no matter how bad the economy is.
- it should help me later on when I need to learn Medical Terminology in Nursing School.

I am Enrolled Through Career Step Which has just been Approved for the My CAA funding From the Department of Defense. If you're a Military Spouse and Qualify, you can get your Certificate in Medical Transcription or Medical Coding and Billing With no out of pocket Expenses! There are other Schools that ARE approved through the DoD CAA funding (there are many schools) but I am talking about For Medical Transcription.
