The guy who built our house was not efficient nor did he really care about the job much. because there are tons of mistakes and errors that we are going to have to fix. thinking of compiling that list gives me a head ache. Right now as for the yard, ideas keep rumbling in my brain and I can't WAIT to get started....
Here is the Show Photo... There is so much that I want done, like putting hedging by the deck to cover the ugly Meter. which is hidden by the trees. there is a rhinoceros size Rock (Boulder?) out front that I want moved or possibly gone...forever. and about 15-20 trees that I want knocked down.
Our Back Yard. We're thinking about renting a bob cat and pushing all the junk to the edge of the property(there is a bank not too far back that we could successfully do this) filling it in with top soil and planting grass and cutting down the septic and water piping. the Dirt in the back yard turns into this disgusting MUSH when the break up happens. it's almost like Quick sand. our house has actually settled quite a bit because of this as well. I would like to put a chain link fence in too, but apparently, that's not my husbands priority.
We're going to try to level out the ground here some and make the driveway wider. all that wood needs to get lost.
a 2 Car Parking Pad is going here. that is our next-ish project after we get all the wood gone and out of our yard.
Our Front Yard is in TERRIBLE shape. Most of those tree's are getting cut down and we're making a walkway to the door and those rocks are going to be used for fill further down the yard where we need to fill it in.
I know it Doesn't really LOOK like much, but this is a vast improvement. considering. I wonder if I have a before picture somewhere....
we also EVENTUALLY want to put a garage entirely on. Right now it's a car port and it's cool but also very annoying. I'd like to be able to add about 20k to the value of our house by doing the garage, and then even more by making a useful yard and putting up a fence. but we'll see. we've talked about staying here 4-5 years so if we play it smart we should be able to have a decent looking yard by then.

Dining Room/ Living Room
I took a picture of my sick bebe tonight. I love the stripes on him. brown is a good color for him.
Living Room:
So basically. Our Dining Room consisted of a place for us to put junk we didn't need to toys or whatever. I am embarrassed to show this honestly. but it also makes me feel EXTREMELY Accomplished to look at this and know that I did it. ON MY OWN!
Before:
After:
I noticed that the carpet is off when lined up with the curtains. I fixed it now.
I feel incredibly accomplished...and incredibly tired LOL :D
